There are so many things we do in Music every day, but how many of them are really important to our administrators? Where do they think we fit?
When will we all have to fear for our jobs or the jobs of the elementary teachers in our district?
I think many of us think about this constantly...until we are working 12 or more hours a day, and don't have the time. But, we are coming to that time of year, where pink slips loom and protests are held on State Capitol steps.
How do we present our subject matter to our administrators or even higher?
How do we let them know what we teach, really does matter?
How are you teaching across the curriculum and relating to the Standards?
Wouldn't Standards Based teaching be acceptable...if we all taught all the Standards?
